Union City entered districts with high hopes, scoring five runs in the first inning against Sterling. The held a five run lead in the third inning where sterling answered with five of their own tying up the score. In the fourth Sterling added 1 and did not look back from there. The Lady Tigers fell to the Sterling Tigers 16-5. Union City would then go on to play the highly ranked Fort-Cobb in an elimination game.

The Lady Tigers battled defensively with the Mustangs until the 3rd inning when Fort Cobb earned a run. Union City wouldn’t put up a run until the 7th inning.  Fort Cobb was up to UC 2-0, with two outs. Freshman Chelsea Morgan stepped to the plate with bases loaded and hit a line drive over short scoring 3 runs. During a wild scene of events that eventually put the Lady Tigers on top the ump made a controversial call which he called the second run out and ended the game and season for the Lady Tigers. The Lady Tigers ended their season with a 12-15 record.
