The Tigers fell into a hole early in the game, trailing 4-0 by the third inning. By the end of the fourth inning they had tied it up, 4-4. They were unable to gain the lead, giving up three runs in the fifth and eventually losing.
Zane Robeaux received the start on the mound. He went three innings before leaving with an injury. Robeaux gave up seven hits and three earned runs, while striking out five. Casey Bieber came in relief to begin the fourth. Bieber gave up seven hits and three earned runs as well. He struck out three during the two innings he pitched.
Wyatt Norton led the Tigers on offense with a team leading 2 hits and one run scored. Another offensive highlight, Casey Bieber added a solo home run for the Tigers first long ball of the season.
The Tigers will be back in action on Friday, August 11th, in the Cimarron Festival.
