Multiple Teams · JH Boys Lead Slips Away


The Junior High boys basketball team was very excited to have their first home game of the season in the new gym last Thursday night. In the first quarter Jaden Straka sank a 3 pointer and Caleb McSpadden shot and scored a layup putting points up on the board for the Tigers. Before halftime Jaden Straka scored a total of 6 points putting the score at 18-15.

In the 3rd quarter Tyler Ross led the team scoring 6 points for the team keeping them ahead of the Lions. The Tigers kept scoring in the 4th quarter but just not quite enough, Gracemont ended up taking the win beating Union 41-38.

At the end of the night Tyler Ross was the Tigers leading scorer with 13 points total. Jaden Straka was a close second with numerous 3’s and 12 overall points.  The Tigers are back in action this week in the Calumet Tournament.
