The Union City Lady Tigers faced off on Tuesday November 28th against Geary’s Lady Bison.  Lady Tigers lead the entire game and came out on top with a final score of 51-19. Union City went into half time scoring 13 points in both the 1st and 2nd quarter putting the score at 26-7 with 2 quarters left to play. Lady Tigers ended the 3rd quarter scoring a total of 17 points still leaving the Lady Bison far behind while they only scored 6 points.  As the 4th quarter arrived, Union City completely shut out Geary by not letting them score one point while they had 8.

(Senior) Alex Chipps lead Union City Ladies with 15 points. Following close behind (Junior) Hunter Johnson had 10 points. (Junior) Jamie Schieber stepped it up and fell right behind Hunter Johnson with 9 points. Lady Tigers entire bench got to play giving everyone a chance to show what they are made of. (Freshman) Anyssa Morales went in and knocked down free throws adding in 4 more points for the Lady Tigers.  (Junior) Livia Nelson contributed 6 points and stellar defense. (Sophomore) Shooting guard, Rylee Loudermilk added 5 points of her own, one of which was a three pointer. (So.) Natalie Smith rounded out the scoring with 2 points in the fourth quarter. Union City Lady Tigers came back with a great win after 2 consecutive losses. Also, only playing there second game in the new gym, everyone should come out on Friday night for a classic UC vs Minco game.
