Last night the Union City Tigers faced the Binger-Oney Bobcats on our homecourt. The first point of the night for the Tigers was scored by eighth grader Caleb McSpadden. At the end of the first quarter the Tigers trailed by 8 points by a score of 10-2. In the second quarter Kaydon Borneman and Jaden Straka worked together to put points up for the Tigers and leaving the half time score at 13-5.
In the third quarter, things got out of hand for the Tigers. Binger-Oney put up 16 points total as the Tigers were only able to tally 5 points. This brought the score to 29-10 heading to the final quarter. The fourth quarter was much of the same, as the Bobcats outscore the Tigers 10-2.
The final score of the game was 39-12 in favor of B-O.
The leading scorer of the game was Tyler Ross with 5 points. Kaden Bornemann also added 4 points in the loss.
The Tigers play on December 11th at home vs Lomega.
