The Union City Tigers started off their spring break with the Union City Classic tournament. The Tigers took on Mustang Junior Varsity and the Tigers were upset on a 12-4 loss. The loss moved the Tigers down to the losers bracket to play CCS on Friday. The Tigers won on a 5-2. On Saturday the boys in blue looked to take on Western Heights in the consolation championship. The Tigers beat Western Heights in a crushing 13-0 run rule. The Tigers were lead by senior Brayden Reed on the bump going 3 innings. Zane Robeaux and Casey Bieber with lead the offense, each of them having a pair of RBI’s.

The Tigers started the Union City spring Break Festival on the 22nd of March.  The Tigers took on Depew. This game proved to be very exciting and it came down to the wire in a 6-5 Union City victory. Casey Bieber  hit a walk off home run over the right field wall in the bottom of the 7th inning to win the game. Tigers took on the Tipton Tigers a few hours later in an other exciting game which resulted also resulted a 6-5 win this time a walk off double  from second baseman Jack Walkabout.
