Multiple Teams · Another One Bites the Dust


The Lady Tigers loaded up the bus again for a long drive to Erick, gearing up for their last game of the week. Union started the night off with a JV game, the ladies came out a little slow but quickly warmed up. Sophomores, Laila Goad and Marlie Flowers, both scored at the net. Anyssa Morales, sophomore, has had some impressive hits and is improving everyday. The ladies made short work of the Bearcats and moved onto the varsity game.

The Lady Tigers took a minute to regain their rhythm in the first set. Then the ladies began moving and talking, giving great passes to their setter and executing plays. Elisa Viacava, senior, pounded the Bearcats with a total of 12 kills. Hunter Johnson, senior, followed closely with 11 kills. Junior, Brionah O’Neal, punished Erick with her serves and allowed the Tigers to increase their lead. The Lady Tigers won 3-0, with sets scores of 25-12, 25-14, and 25-10.

The Lady Tigers will be back in action at Clinton on September 17th, we hope to see you there!
