Coach Anderson said “I was pretty happy with the way our girls played to get to the finals at the Minco Tournament. I think they played very well vs Watonga and Lookeba, specifically defensively. We also hit some key shots during those 2 games. Things didn’t go well for us in the finals but that’s something our team has talked about moving forward from. We close out the semester with 2 good teams, so I am looking for us to defend well and ideally go into the break with 2 good wins.”
The Union City Lady Tigers improved their record to 7-3 in the season looking to improve it to 8-3 after the away Lookeba-Sickles game Friday night starting at 6:30. We hope to see you there!
