The Union City Tigers were finally able to get back on the field after all the rain these past few weeks.
They traveled to Carney last Thursday and destroyed them by a score of 8-0. The Tigers also dominated the Riverside Braves at home on Tuesday night. Juniors, Lane Casey and Josh Morrison led the team in hits with two a piece. The Tigers came ready, scoring three runs in the first inning and not letting the Braves on the board. The team kept their head in the game and got another nine runs in the second and third innings.
The boys in blue ended the game with a final score of 13-3. Leaving them with a record of 6-1 and ranked 20th in Class A. Senior, Reed Miller toed the rubber and got the win on the mound. Casey also led in RBIs with 3 total. You can catch the Tigers back in action on Friday night at NOC against Cimarron and Roff.
