On Thursday, January 23rd, Lady Tigers traveled to Paden for the Paden Tournament. They started off the tournament playing Depew. They were behind at halftime 24-13. The Lady Tigers came back out hoping to take the win but fell short with a score of 40-26. Sophomore, Taytim Woods led the team with 15 points, six of them coming from the free throw line. 

The Lady Tigers came back out on Friday looking for a win against Mason. Sophomore, Kailee Jackson started the first quarter hot by knocking down 3 three-pointers in a row. The Lady Tigers held them to 4 points that quarter as they were up 25-4. The second quarter The Lady Tigers made 8/10 free throws. Going into halftime with a score of 41-16. The rest of the game The Lady Tigers held up and never let their defense down, ending the game with a score of 63-39. 

Saturday was a chance for the consolation trophy. The Lady Tigers faced off against The Prue Lady Rockets. The first quarter was neck and neck, The Lady Tigers ended on top with a score of 9-8. In the second quarter, The Lady Tigers only scored 5 points. They went into halftime down 27-14. At the end of the third quarter, Laila Goad had a 2 point buzzer-beater. The Lady Tigers fell short that game with a score of 60-40.

The Tigers recently took part in the Paden tournament. The Tigers played Prue in Thursday’s game, the game started off great for the Tigers, Junior Tyler Ross came out and hit two three-pointers in the first quarter. The Tigers were neck and neck with Prue through the whole game. Sophomore, Skyler Kimberlin was the leading scorer for the Tigers with 19 points. The Tigers came out with the win 61 to 47.

On Friday, The Tigers continued the tournament vs. Agra. The Tigers came out hitting a few shots but just couldn’t back it up on defense. Agra beat the Tigers in every quarter on possession points. Junior, Tyler Ross stepped up shooting three-three pointers and had 13 points at the end of the game. The Tigers fell short to Agra towards the end of the game. The ending score was 33 to 54.

On Saturday, The Tigers played Weleetka for 3rd place. Junior, Tyler Ross came out and hit a three to start the fire for the Tigers. The Tigers fought strong throughout the whole game on defense and offense. Ross was on fire and had 35 points leading the Tigers to a third-place finish. The Tigers won the game by a score of 71-43..
